Curcuma has been valued in Asia for thousands of years. Curcuma has also been well-known in Europe for some time. The ground rhizome of the plant is used as a spice. This rhizome is strikingly colored. The Indian turmeric root (Latin name: Curcuma longa L.) contains, among other things, the secondary plant substance curcumin. The capsules contain 750 mg of high-quality turmeric root extract (from Curcuma longa L.) with a natural curcumin content of 35 mg in combination with 2 mg piperine and 25 μg vitamin D3, which corresponds to 1000 IU (International Units). Piperine is extracted from black pepper. Piperine can support the absorption of curcumin into the body. Doppelherz Curcuma 750 capsules contain a high-quality curcumin root extract combined with a plant-based capsule shell. Vitamin D contributes to normal bone maintenance and normal muscle function. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and plays a role in cell division.
